I have never seen that with any of my chickens and honestly, in this weather and being preggers too, my hen house gets kind of nasty too. Sevedo only cleans it out every few weeks and he wouldn't do it that often but he knows I am in there every day to collect eggs and it is not good to be breathing all the fumes. He is not concerned about the fumes bothering the chickens like I am. It is driving me nuts but I know how hard it is to get that junk up when it is frozen.

You got many eggs blown out yet? Thought you might have been too busy with extra kids around but thought I would ask anyway. I have been putting mod podge on some of mine today cuz I know I will never get them finished if I don't do it now and the rub-ons start to peel off after awhile without the mod podge on them.

I have been busy but I have gotten a about 18 blown out. That is as far as I have gotten. I thought I may break them out on Sunday and maybe a few of the kids may want to help blow eggs. I have enough where breakage is not a concern. Thanks for the encouragement

Wyatt was born July 31 and I almost felt like I was going to die in June/July. It was MISERABLE. I'm hoping to hit the spring next time. We may start trying again in April (when my depo runs out), so you'll be finishing and I'll be starting all over again. I hope there's not as much

the next time around. And I'm really hoping for a girl. I wanted a girl the first time, but have always wanted both, so wasn't completely upset when I found out I was having a boy. Sometimes I feel like a bad person b/c I think if I find out the next one is a boy I'm going to resent it.
