I forgot to say the other day that he was actually pretty good on a walk. We saw another dog, he lunged once, I buzzed him, he stopped. He did keep turning around to look after we passed them though so I corrected for that a few times too but I think next time I will just only correct for the MAJOR offenses like lunging, etc. LOL cause looking after the fact is fairly harmless I guess. BUT!!!!!!!! With him it gets him more hyped up/keeps him in that state so IDK……

We saw that same dog from a distance tonight and he cried a tiny bit cause they were so far away I guess they weren’t lunge worthy but then we ran away the other direction and did the small loop.

Whatever, we can’t always confront this head on LOL

We’ve been so prepared lately and have yet to see another dog. oh well. LOL

He has been SO good lately too LOL recalled off a rabbit yesterday from the property line/kind of neighbors yard immediately with just a verbal “BREWSTER NO!” because I didn’t have time to grab the remote out of my pocket and just instinctively shouted that LOL came right back.

THEN!!!!!!!!!

Today he saw me cutting open his flea and tick meds and ran into his crate

I called him, nothing.

So then I moved closer/in view of his crate and said “Brewster, COME!” in a slightly firmer tone than the first time but not yelling or anything.

He came running over and even sat down for me.

Then just now I left the door wide open while I was moving some stuff outside right in front of it and he didn’t move one toe towards the door LOL

I did shut it immediately after but still.

He’s SO GOOD.
