I wish I had a decent memory. Must be all the drugs I did in the 70s.

Well, they admitted my mom to the hospital. She had an S-T depression on the EKG, so the admitted her and hooked her up to multiple drugs. She's waiting on them to do a cardiac cath in the morning. She still has some chest pressure, but not bad enough that she needs those kinds of drugs, although I told her she should take advantage and enjoy the morphine while they're offering it.

So far all her bloodwork is normal. I'll know more in the morning.

Michelle -- Nero gets snipped this week too. Thankfully, I won't have to sedate him to get him there. Now, one of my cats, on the other hand, needs to be sedated just to wrestle him into a cat carrier....and sedating him isn't that easy, either.

Elizabeth - We have several people who are of the Jewish faith at work. I really was not familiar with shiva, though, except from what little (certainly lousy) references I've seen in television programs. The hollywood version is always so trustworthy, of course. (Ahem. Sarcasm...)



As for me, I got home about 30 minutes ago. Work, class, grocery store...I should be grading papers tonight, but you know what? I'm too tired. I need to write an exam in the morning, and then I can deal with grading then. I'm just too beat. I'm making my son put away the groceries. (Oh, wait. I always do that...never mind.)

We are making a cheap grocery store pizza because I don't even want to think about making anything else. Then, I'm going to go sit on my backside and watch an hour or two of tv, then collapse...

2 more long days, then spring break...which I will spend catching up on my stack of grading, then being with my husband for his surgery...then rushing back to go back to classes. I won't really have a Spring Break, but thank goodness I have the week out of the office and classroom! Otherwise, I'd have taken all next week off and to HANG with work...

Wow Roz, you sound like I feel. I'm so glad my kids are old enough to cook now, they each have their own specialties now too

. You're all in our prayers, sounds like a very busy Spring Break. My kids are home educated so I'm thinking of letting them go to their Aunties for their break, it'd give us newly weds some time to ourselves too

We just got home, finally. Had to drop diapers off to my step-daughter so we had to take the extra long way home. Because of the storm it took us 2 hours just to cross Memphis and get outta there

. Now I need to go fix supper and get to bed, 6am comes way too early for me since I'm NOT a morning person. Talk to y'all tomorrow. Nighty night.
