I am waiting for a guy to call me and help me try to fix my outlook express e-mail. (it still doesn't work) Our tech guy (who is all knowing) tried to convince me I was crazy (which I am) and that I just didn't know how to send an e-mail

I am convinced it was frost bite on the feet and legs and there is one more that is affected, not quite as severe, but it isnt getting around well at all. I do my best to make sure they eat and drink but mine are so wild, they don't like you near them at all. However one is not sick or affected at all and is out side right now in our 50 degree weather singing his praises

Good morning all. I still feel lousy this morning, but not quite as badly as I did last night. I am still feeling ill enough that I went ahead and took a sick day. I have used only 3 (I think) in 3 years plus the one I took because of my husband's situation, so I don't miss often. I refuse to let myself feel horrible for it. My eyes hurt and I was still pretty dizzy this morning. I have to protect MY health right now since his surgery is this week. I can't be collapsing with that coming up. The good thing is that I don't think it's flu. That's what I was worried about last night. I'm still not running high fevers, so perhaps I'll be past whatever this is in a couple of days. My eyes REALLY hurt, though. (Here after a bit I'm going to go sit in a soft chair and gradually grade papers through the day letting my eyes rest. I'd postpone that but I have one stack that "must" be done soon.)

Elizabeth...The House That Cleans Itself...I'll get the free sample for my kindle later today. I surely won't be getting started on any major housework until May break, though. I have two weeks off then. Oh, and as for you're, etc. Don't stress over it. I know the difference, too, but when typing quickly online I often substitute words. Thankfully, I don't do it in important work related communications because I slow down and proofread. I just can't type fast enough, even at 120 words a minute, to keep up with my thoughts.

Texas - I'm not parting with my junk drawer. Why else would anyone have a drawer on the dining room side of the bar???

It's not like I am going to keep placemats in there. Heck, I barely have furniture in the dining room right now. Pulled it out to keep puppy from chewing it. That's the puppy play room right now. Seriously, where else would I keep the extra keys, tube of super glue, matches, my pocketknife, mini flashlight, birthday candles, etc. I can't even think of a better place for all of that.

At least I have drawer dividers in there...No junk drawer in my KITCHEN though. (My kitchen has very few cupboards. In fact, it only has about 5 small cupboards + the under sink cupboard. On the other hand, I have at least 20+ drawers...

algo - if bantam chicks scare you because they are tiny, try quail babies! Even tinier, try button quail babies. They are about like holding a bumblebee in your hand. I was pretty panicky with my first batch. Then I saw how at 2-3 days old they would climb onto a stuffed animal (beanie baby turkey) and leap off then climb up and do it again. After watching that for a couple of small batches of babies, I became more confident with the little things.

Michelle - have fun on your trip. (As for packing -- just go into the bathroom, throw in the stuff you use every day, then toss in some jeans & tops & undergarments. Add a coat/jacket and your credit cards and you are done. That's my method, anyway. Actually, right now I have a go bag packed that means I don't have to even go into the bathroom, just grab clean clothes. I haven't even been packing them, though. Just toss in the seat of the car, ROFL.
