I don't know how many of you are from my neck of the woods or plan to be up this way, Paradise Found is located near the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL.
We're hosting a Chicken People Meet & Greet and Bonfire/Camp out the weekend starting August 20th.
There are door prizes and a 10-acre meadow for camping with indoor facilities available.
All BYCers and their friends are welcomed.
We have confirmations from Indiana, Illinois and 1 Wisconsinites. (Not that I am asking for reservations, it's just that I wouldn't want to put my address and phone number up on open forum.

DD14 is stuck in Newark, NJ airport .. they've tried to reroute her and THAT flight cancelled.. poor baby .. she's a little irritated (and mom is trying not to panic)

Flying to Nantucket to visit her dad .. was supposed to change planes in Newark .. flight cancelled, they rerouted her to Providence, RI .. her dad is halfway there (driving) .. and THAT flight cancelled..

Well, she's spending the night at Newark Airport .. in a room with another girl .. accompanied by two guards. They aren't leaving the airport grounds, they have tv, couch and cots .. so I guess it's just an adventure!

Ladies -- Prayers are needed again for my friend. They did surgery on her to remove some calcification (?) and she got the results yesterday. There is cancer and she is having to make the decision today whether to do a mastectomy or radiation. The biopsy came back fine, but the doctor just didn't have a good feeling, so he decided to remove the area and check it deeper. Love doctors with good intuition. If she keeps her breast there is a one percent increase every year that the cancer will come back. If she does the mastectomy, it's gone for good. From what I was told last night, they will breast reconfiguration while she is still on the table from the mastectomy.

So please send prayers up for Linda.
