I have a hen that was grabbed by an Eagle on the right side but she was then dropped. Had a pretty good wound on the right and the right wing drooped. Took care of the wound and it healed up, the wing continued to droop. This week I found the wing on the floor of the coop, wing joint looked black. I inspected the hen, she wasn't bleeding and is still laying. The wing had good feathers so there had to be a blood supply to the wing.
Anyone else ever have this happen, very strange to me but the bird still seems happy so I guess she can accept the missing appendage.
