We have two four month old buff orpingtons and at least one will sometimes find a comfy patch of grass or dirt in the sun, and "sunbathe". It it too funny! She will lay down on her back, put her wing out, her legs up, (you can even see the little feathers on her head all stand up) and Sugar will lie there maybe even fall asleep.
