Ever wonder how long it takes to blowdry a bantam

ok I am clicking on the "quote" button and then doing a copy/paste then clicking on the "quote" button again. Is that not the way to do it?? Sorry, you know how old people are!

The quote thing was a major puzzlement to me as well - here's what I do now, and I don't know if it's right...I click the "quote" button at the bottom of the post, and it will open a new message window for me with the other person's message in it. If I only want to refer to part of the quote, I delete everything but that.

chickbea & shelby you are dears. I kept looking for the "quote" at the bottom of the page but I was on the wrong page, this works for me. Had clicked on everything on the actual posting page and got the open window once but lost it and never did find it again. Whew! Thanks again!

ok ...
step by step instruction on quotes! (or any other function like the image function or the http:// link function or the bold type function etc.)

1. copy what you want to quote
2. click the quote button
3. put your cursor between the two bracketed quotes{quote}CURSOR HERE{/quote}
4. Paste the quote
5. move your cursor and then write anything else you want BEFORE or AFTER the bracketed quotes
6.submit your reply

basically what your doing is telling the computer to start the quote here and end it there. Bracket code--means start the function here and bracket slash code means end the function here.

Hope this helps....
Sandra
