Ever wonder if a hen can hold it?

Today is one of those days when all my hens have decided that the only nestbox that will do is the "hidden nest". A special covered box that I installed in the coop for my half blind hen; who happens to be the only one that won't use it.

Lilith, bless her heart, has tried to use the special box at least three times today, but she's lowest on the pecking order and keeps getting run off of it by more dominant hens.
At last check, my top hen is in the special nest and three other hens are standing in line. Lilith is just wandering around the coop looking lost. I've offered her the other four nests, one at a time, but she doesn't want anything to do with them.
So, yes! A hen can hold it to a certain extent.

Maybe I need to get a life and not be so involved in my critter's doings.

I know. I find it real hard when my DH comes home from work not to talk about who laid what and where.
