Those darn birds! They keep trying to get in the box with the broody girl and her eggs! She gets disgusted and moves to one of the open nest boxes and then moves back when they leave. Might this cause her to abandon her nest and the eggs? Any ideas what to do?

I wonder if they like the fact that there are eggs in the box so that's the one they want to use.

I just put her on the eggs, should I try to move her to her own place? I don't really have a good spot for her in the hen house. It would have to be the dog crate in a separate run. I could cover it and make it nice and dark.

You're going to have to make a small area for her. Mine do the same thing, then you don't get a good hatch and can't figure out which are being brooded and which are new. Make a small area for her or put her in a dog crate, nest box and all so she can still get up and use the potty and eat and drink.
