Many people who commit terrible acts seem completely 'normal'.
Ted Bundy was seen as a handsome, well groomed man by his victims, and the people out to catch him. Ted Kaczynski was very intelligent, a prodigy who got into Harvard at age 16.
Being normal doesn't exclude someone from being terrible.

Maybe I just have too much empathy, but in such a case with such a young (and likely easily influenced) suspect, it's actually quite upsetting. No one deserves to die. It's good that he didn't either way, then we'll know why the attack happened straight from one of the people who did it. And someday, considering his age, he'll likely regret what he did.

I'm just glad everything seems to be wrapping up. Although, you never know what could happen next.

A person can not have too much empathy IMO. I agree with you. Trying to understand why someone does this, seeing them as human, and feeling empathy for the pain that must have brought someone like that to do such horrible things doe snot mean you condone their actions and that you do not want the person to receive proper punishment for their crimes.

It just means you do not look at things as black and white, nor do you get caught up in lynch mob mentality.

agreed. Few of these people would be sucessful in their attacks. if they were not able to blend in

I'm glad to know that he had gunshot wounds from the day before and had to suffer all day and night long with them. I'm also glad that he got to see his brother killed..hope it torments him the rest of his life..

Wow Wendy, that's pretty dark.

I fear too many confuse vengeance and suffering with justice. To approve of justice and karma is one thing, but to absolutely relish in human suffering is another, IMO.

They are now saying he killed his brother when he ran over him with the stolen SUV not mention he dragged him for a ways. I won't be shedding any tears for these two. Thinking he would have bled out overnight if the homeowner didn't go outside and happen to notice the tarp on his boat was loose.

Yes the big brother had a bomb strapped to him, I was thinking the same thing he was either trying to detonate the bomb or that was his only way out. I think the police could have taken him out then too, they really wanted him alive. Now they have to wait until he can talk because he was shot in the neck.
