Can 1-2 day olds be put under a pigeon pair that's been sitting on infertile eggs. Storm and Epics eggs are infertile, I just got a pair of 1-2 day olds (from a barn sweep). I can hand feed, that's not a problem but, can the adults take them instead? Has this been done?

you can try not knowing the babies age and how long the pair was setting they need to be close are the babies new hatched if so they will need pigeon milk the first milk from the pair if not just try you never know

These babies are 1-2 days at most. Mine have been sitting for about 4-5 days on infertile eggs. (I hand raised them, no crop milk). I took their eggs(infertile) , but since they stayed with the nest, I gave them a duck egg... !

it takes a week to candle eggs to check if fertile if laid like u say start hand feeding

You could try, I've successfully fostered day-olds under a pair that had been sitting on eggs for only a few days. Just make sure they are feeding them enough and keeping them warm, some pigeons are better parents than others, and first-timers might not know how to care for babies.

You're gonna have a huge flock of pigeons living in your house soon!
