Thanks ChicksnMore, sadly a hawk got him earlier this summer

We used to have a nice pair of red shouldered hawks that never ate my birds but now a pair of coopers hawks have moved in and they perch in a tree above my pigeon cage all day waiting for the pigeons to come out. So I can't let them free fly anymore.

I heartily congratulate you on having kept them alive thus far . I've read how hard it is hand feeding pigeons, so I'm quite impressed.

Thank you. I've had far less trouble with these 2, after they hatched, than my duck hatches.... The pigeons fascinate me.
Now, weaning to seeds.... Grrrrr!!!!!

Ducklings are precious, but unmatched in mess making.
Are you gonna teach them to fly? I love watching the parent pigeons showing and encouraging their "teens" to hop from perch to perch, and building up distance and height till they can fly. Sooo sweet
