This is Epic.
Fostering now, will probably keep, depending how the meet and greet goes with Storm and Chaos after quarantine is up. Approximate age is 4 weeks. Breed unknown.
(The yellow crusties on the bill are from formula feeding!)

I never heard of fostering pigeons. That is neat. Do you get them from pet rescues?

Epic came from a hoarding situation. But, yes many wildlife sanctuaries need foster parents. Just as regular shelters are overcrowded, so are the wildlife sanctuaries. Usually more so because there are even less people qualified to help.... You can always check in your area and see what the need is.

I didn't know about the white feathers... Body wise, Epic is already larger than the two ferals I have and they are almost a month older!
Excitingly, Epic is absolutely trying to fly!! Yeah!!!!

Wow, Epic is getting so pretty! He/she(?) looks kinda like one of my pigeons, I love the few white feathers by his/her eye. They are all looking so good too!
