I've also seen them snatch rabbits and ground squirrels

I've seen them stalk my chihuahua that's scary! I'll go running over and take him in before the hawk gets him!

One almost got my favorite chicken a few years back it was terrifying.

That's so scary when that happens one time my cat Fritz thought he was stalking a red tailed hawk but really it was stalking him! He was so upset when I took him inside he was like "why?!?!,I was going to catch the biggest dinner ever!!!!"
