Most of the cows we have butchered are cull milking cows. Two years is probably a good age, maybe you could even go a bit younger than that, depending on how large and quickly the animal grows. I'm not an expert. But, I do know that our hamburger is delicious!I had Pork Potstickers.
How how old does a cow have to be to be butchered? My dad thinks you have to raise a calf to 2yrs old before butchering.
