Okay, I'm not that into rose combs, & how they work.

In their description they say D'uccles, & Booted Bantams are the same, so it makes me assume both are kept together.

Bought them at the feed store 6 years ago. They were actually were more orderly, & labeled the birds correctly then. Now they became more sloppy for some reason.
Ah. I would just call them booted bantams, then.

They recently updated everything, & their description is different now.

Plus they say Mille Fleur D'uccles have mahogany feathers. They're not mahogany.

Also, they only have D'uccles listed, no Booted Bantams.

To be honest, hatcheries use physical description rather than the actual genetics, so I guess they could be described as looking mahogany. Even then, it’s a bit of an exaggeration. If I had to describe my d’uccle that way, I would say “orange”. Or maybe “peach” if I wanted to be fancy.

But in reality they're Gold.

Do red/Mahogany D'uccles exist? Sound like a cool color.

Yeah. I just looked up mahogany as a color and I’m realizing that it’s a huge exaggeration. I don’t know if red d’uccles exist, but I have seen some from hatcheries that are the color of production reds.
Yeah, a very big exaggeration.

Those use the mahogany gene, it's just a poor quality color variation. So are you talking rusty red, or a dark mahogany?
