Here's some of my star wars sketches, most of these you can find on my art thread but I'll post em here too. I do have some clean/polished pieces but overall I don't think they look as good

Did this one today ^^ Padmé is wearing her snow outfit from Genndy Tartakovsky's 2003 miniseries (which is criminally underrated btw)

Awesome!!!

I was browsing reddit and I came across an Ask Me Anything post from today, from the guy who played the youngling in Revenge of the Sith  You know the one. He seems to take all the jokes centered around him very well!

Obliagtory. Auralnauts have done spoofs of I-VI and they are a riot. if you are easily offended I suggest maybe skipping them, but as a professional terrible human being, I endorse them.

I don't like Kylo Ren because it feels like they tried so hard to make everyone like him. And did a terrible job. He's a pathetic character.
Rey was ok. Finn and Poe were better.
BB-8 was about the best character.

I realize Leia dies in the next film. Boy am I looking forward to it.
I thought the actor did really well protraying Kylo. I know everyone expects him to be like any other villain but to me he has so many layers that I think were brilliantly played. I can see the battle going on in his head.
I have to admit I really hated the character at first (becuase he killed Han) but now that I’ve done my research on Kylo/Ben’s background I understand why he hated the Jedi and his father.
After the second Death Star was destroyed, Leia had her hands full with building the New Republic. As shown in the Mandalorian, the Empire didn’t just disappear. There was a lot of work to be done in restoring the galaxy. when Ben was born, she wanted him to be a Jedi. She herself trained as a Jedi, but didn’t complete her last test becuase she had visions of Ben turning to the dark side. So Ben basically grew up forced into a religion he didn’t really connect with. Han wasn’t too interested in him either. As a teenager Ben had the pressure of being the “new chosen one” and that, combined with his parents virtually abandoning him, he started drifting away from the light side of the force. Then the voices, orchestrated by palpatine, started. They basically stated what Ben feared, that his parents didn’t care for him, which wasn’t exactly true, they did love him, they just didn’t have time for him, and he was different from them. Luke sensed the “darkness” in him and “for one moment thought he could end it” by killing Ben. As he realized this was ridiculous, Ben woke up and saw Luke standing over him with the lightsaber ignited. Ben therefore ran to the only thing that had given him assurance in his life, Snoke. Ben believed his parents wouldn’t forgive him for burning the temple and maybe killing Luke by bringing the hit down on him. Once with Snoke, he turned fully to the dark side and we know what happens from there. But knowing this, as I watch the actor portray Kylo, I can see all of the struggles behind him, and in interviews with the actor, Adam Driver, he says he is very protective of the character. He actually tuned into Kylo on set. John Boyega, who plays Finn, said that he would go over and give Adam hugs occasionally, he would get so into character and angry.

But before knowing all of this, I thought Kylo was a stony character as well. But I truly think that is Kylo that is stony, not the actor. Kylo feels the light in him and the pull to Rey and doesn’t want it to show.
Also, if you doubt Adam’s acting abilities, check out Adam Driver SNL on YouTube.
I have a large respect for Adam after watching those. He plays everyone from a geeky television host, to a middle aged dad, to reprising Kylo, to a medieval knight, to ALADDIN. And nails all of them

A few weeks ago I picked up Queen's Shadow from the library, I'm about 3/4 the way through but never finished it, I do like it though.
HOWEVER!!! I found a free audiobook of Dark Disciple today and I'm listening to it right now! I've heard it's really good so I'm giving it a shot.
Have you guys ever heard of/read any star wars comics or novels? This will be my first time :D
