I have weighed the pros and cons of posting these questions:
CON:
I will show the BYC world just what a chicken newbie I am.
PROS:
1) My pride can take the hit.
2) The seasoned members will probably get a morning chuckle out of it.
3) Other newbies may benefit from the responses.
My LH mounted one of my EE hens last night. This morning, all three EEs and my 2 BOs were slick and wet on their backs near the base of their tails. None of the other hens (all younger/smaller) had this.
Question 1: Is this evidence that he mounted them all, but missed the mark?
Question 2: If so, is it safe to assume both BOs (3-4 months) are hens? (I posted on Breeds and Gender but the jury is still out!) The EE are laying, so I know their gender, lol.
Thank you in advance for your responses!
