Evil roosters - sick of getting attacked - suggestions?

"Sometimes, I think I should call a raptor sanctuary and see if they ever want live food for their birds (giant owls, meat-eating species)." I like that idea. I have probably 10 little roos growing in the brooder in the garage. I know at least one is a replacement for my NN roo. Poor Oakley walks in such pain. He needs to cross that Rainbow Bridge. Once I determine who will take his place, I will attempt to harvest my boys. If I can't then I will call the wild bird sanctuary and see if they use live birds for food and what ages. Haven't been able to make myself sell chicks to the reptile market. Too much of a wimp.

Life is too short to be dealing with mean roos. There is always a young roo who could be a great roo if given the chance.

Mean roos taste the best.

I tried intimidation and seperation. It didn't work. I sent 2 roos to freezer camp last week. I never thought I could enjoy chickens with out a roo. I was wrong. I have 2 tom turkeys and 60ish hens and it's so nice to go to the coop with out my whacking stick...... just a thought.

If its any consolation I processed my boys and sold them for a buck a pound to another family since I promised my kids we'd never eat our birds.
