Thank you nerfy & tink, thanks everyone. He had blood work this morning, they think some infection went into his bloodstream ...so we'll see. He DID feel better today. He's starting to turn into a show-off now

Are they thinking that there might be more that show up from now on, or was that one just a fluke that he got it, and that it went that bad?
I was told with mine, that I will suffer the rest of my life with them.
I can choose to either take antibiotics forever and hope I never get sick, cause then my body is too used to antibiotics, or I can jsut get them, and hope they go away on their own... lol

Hey skand...I just realized you're in Odessa, Tx....my dh has some relatives there.

One of them owns a skating rink.

Sorry I think I stayed up too late last night

Hope hubby and daughter are better soon!

We will be sorry to lose the volcano though it has brought so many of us together in laughter......

Oh, Luna it looks phenominal compared to how it looked at the beginning of all this! Even the redness is diminishing. Yeah, that gaping hole still looks sorta....eeewww....but at the same time......WOW!

I wonder, if he may have gotten some slight infection in his blood, if that's why he was so sick at his stomach before?

Okay, so does it ITCH like mad? It looks like it might.

And, did the doc give any indication of when s/he would want to take out the sac, or perhaps are they thinking they won't take it out at all?

EC, looks like our work is done here.

Good Morning!

They don't want to touch it yet. They want it to start closing up on its own, then they'll sharpen their scalpels. They switched his antibiotic to a less stronger one.

My daughter has a bad flu bug that settled in her lungs, though.

But I think she's on the mend now, she doesn't have health insurance so yesterday they charged her less for the visit and gave her free meds with a prescription for a free inhaler too! So that was good.

Yes folks, the volcano has erupted and all that's left is a crater.

I'm still counting on taking pictures of the sac removal though. There just might be something to look forward to! Aren't we terrible?
