Ex batts

Thanks! She looking fine today as I guess she's not got an egg to lay. It's about 2-6dC at the moment here, winter in the UK. And it's just started snowing a little now. She's fully feathered so I don't think she's moulting, maybe a little between her legs but I had put that down to wet poo causes the feathers to stick together. The other thing with her eggs is leading up to the 3 soft shell eggs she laid 2 abnormally large eggs ( one was 99grams and the other was a weird elongated bumpy shape). Does this info help with the diagnosis?

Really appreciate this thanks!

@Carlyle37 I think what Teila said is good advice. Maybe try the thread Chicken Behaviour/egg laying. There maybe some answers there. However I went through the same thing with one of my little Sebrights and now I have got her a rooster I have not seen a 'funny egg' since. I tried everything to make her shells harder but nothing worked, just the Roo lol

Anyway hope that you find some info - there is always an answer here - somewhere.
