    I am SOOOOO excited!!!!!! My little baby chicks are coming around monday!!!

    if anybody has any tips on raising chickens, tell me...please!

    I am new to chickens and need any good advice on them everything helps!

  3. I'll tell you to let them settle for a while, then go and try to make nice-nice. Grab some of their feed and try to, quietly, encourage them to eat out of your hands. This will help them to associate positive rewards with human contact. I've done this with two years worth of chicks and now as soon as I open the door, I have 13 chickens and 2 ducks running at me! [​IMG]
