I'm beginning to think my DH has simply given up

he is not asking anymore about "where did those eggs come from?" He simply looks in the brooder and rolls his eyes. I have even heard him about the chicks to our friends. And, last week he came home from work and stayed in the yard for over an hour to protect the flock, the hawks were flying over. I really can't ask for much more

except.......... I still need several new coops........

My DH came home to a chicken in the house! I have a sick silkie and she is now in a dog carrier in the house. This did NOT go over well. Especially when I said she would be there for several days!
