Exotic Duck Help!

Hi, I am very new to all of this, but am determined to have a pet duck by the end of this summer. I have been looking into exotic breeds, maybe a pintail or cinnamon teal. Is there anybody here that could teach me a little bit about the ropes?

When you say "non domestic breeds" are you thinking about taking them from the wild or do you know of someone who breeds domestic ducks that aren't usually domesticated?

I do know most ducks that aren't domestic need papers and licenses to own

Oh sorry I did not specify, I meant breeds of duck that are normally non domestic. Not taking them out of the wild.

Got it. That is what I assumed. Are you planing on getting multiple? Just having one duck isn't a great idea. They defiantly need a flock, they get very attached.
