Exotic Silkie Hen Sound

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to share with you all a weird sound my Silkie Hen makes. I wasn't sure what was the best way to post this was so I hope this format is acceptable. She only makes this noise in the morning when I do not put the feeder out early enough. I've never been able to find a video online that has a similar sound. I hope everyone has a great day!

She might be crowing!

Some hens do and it usually sounds pathetic like that (compared to actual crowing). Is she top of the pecking order by chance?

Also kinda sounds like she's laughing..

I'd love to see a video of her doing it.. also usually uploaded to a third party host and then linked back here.

I will try to get a video of her doing it next time! She does it to page me and stops when she hears me turning the corner to the shed. Thanks for the suggestion on sharing media!

That's so funny that she only chooses to crow when she is hungry. I wish my old roosters would have crowed that softly.

I had a hen do this when she wanted my attention. She was a very spoiled girl, & an escape artist.
