expanding flock and making new run

hi 2 of my hens died of age nd 3 got kiled by my 3 dogs i only have 1 left she has just stoped laying.i have about a 10 by 10 plot im planing getting 5 layers 1 roo nd 2 breeder.i dont what breed to get i live in Ireland we get alot of rain and cold weather i need them to lay and breed and what. breed to get as a roo i have a coop i built myself with 2 nesting boxes the size the coop itself is big enough but need to extend new nesting boxes.i want to build a new run but dont know what style to make.i have a 10 by 10 plot i plan to have about 15 hens in about 2 to 3 years time . Welcome to BYC! Sorry for your loss, before you get any more chickens you may want to find a way to keep the chickens and dogs separate.
