Probably shouldn't have, but my friend gave me three eggs last night. There is one pure Ameraucana and two Cochin X Ameraucana mixes... possibly a buff Brahma. The roo was definately Ameraucana so that much we know.

Suri was cool with it. lol I think she says, "Bring 'em on! The more the merrier."

I found an egg outside the nest today. It was very cold. I figure there is one of two options on how it got there. 1. It belongs to Blueberry or 2. Suri pushed it out. I'm not sure which but I put it under Suri.

Well, I guess the two girls are still sharing. lol I picked Suri up earlier. She put up a grand fight so I didn't get an accurate count. There are more than 20 eggs under her. I'm not sure what will come of this since the eggs were laid at different times. I guess I could take a pencil out and mark the eggs that are already there and then remove the ones without marks from not on. Humm... lol

Babies are due Sunday. I'm super excited. I'm going to have to go out early to check on them because I've got to work 9-5 that day. I feel like I'm going to miss everything. I want my babies now. I check the eggs once a day and Mama isn't usually happy about that. She's going to be such a good mom. I can't wait!!!!

I went out at 11:30 and saw some egg shell under my broody. I thought it was a broken egg but I couldn't find a chick. I started freaking out. lol I was like... Did one of the ducks kill and eat it? But then I saw an egg that was cracked and had the shell off, kind of like when you boil an egg. It was really hot to the touch so I just left it be. I really hope all goes well. I'm a little nervous yet a little excited. I don't want to expect too much.
