Experience with implants to stop egg laying - Life threatening

I feel so bad for her . She’s just real quiet today and not her spunky self I’m gutted with this . I was counting on the implants working

I’m sure having the egg broken in side her was traumatic hopefully she’ll perk up soon. Why didn’t they go ahead an start her on antibiotics right away?

Yeah I know this place was more like an ER. He recommended I get her to her regular vet as soon as possible and that she would probably get her on an antibiotic.

Sure seems he could have given meds though. Oh well I hope when you take her on Monday she’s feeling better and they can get her straightened out about the implant.

I know what you mean. I didn’t push it because I didn’t want him to give her the wrong thing if he wasn’t sure what is safe for ducks .

No I didn’t know that . What do I look for?

I have Amoxicillin 250 and 500 mgs
Cephalexin 250 mgs
Sulfamethoxazole 480mgs
