Since you started her on the breaker cage late, don't be surprised if it takes a little longer than average to break her. Some hens are more stubborn and need more time

I get it. But to me it's kinder to get them over their broodiness than let them sit, knowing they won't get to hatch anything, and have them also potentially upsetting the flock and their standing in the flock with their behavior.
