Oh it was a male! Was it for sure a slipped tendon? And is his leg permanently crooked now? I have one like this and nothing had been working to get it straightened out. But it gets along just fine and has an appetite and a will to survive, so I’ve been looking up what else to do, while considering “just leaving it alone”… I’ve even looked up how to amputate, but it seems that puts a LOT of pressure on the one leg and most don’t seem to live long after that. So I really don’t know what else to do.Thank you! He did, but I or the vet was never able to fix his leg. Luckily, he is well loved and cares in a loving home, being the only rooster of the flock.
