Externally pipped*help*

Latest photo. 31 hours after pipping . Should I add more olive oil to the membrane. Maybe take some shell off and add oil to see if there are veins ?

This is a good pic of a nice, clear, ready to hatch chick.

I would leave your duckling totally alone for now. He can easily push out of that hole when he's ready, and he'll know when everything is absorbed.

I had my khaki Cambell duck egg externally pip. There was a hole on the egg but the membrane wasn’t open I made a hole for the bill to come out and she is chirping . Pretty much just resting but not making any progress. It’s been 8-10 hrs
The membrane is a light yellow color . Just seeing if this is normal or getting advice if I need to intervene.
[/Q had a chick just do that recently and I know you're not supposed to intervene but I did and I'm glad I did so I don't think he would have made it I watch the video on YouTube and it just said be very careful cracking around it and don't ever pull it from the egg just help it enough to get its little head out and make sure it can move around itself and work itself the rest of the way out
