extra bits on my outer egg shell

hi all,

it was just to ask as im new to chickens,, i have 2 little girls. 1's a silver laced wyanette & this is the one who lays the eggs with the extra bits on the outer shell, they do just rub off with my finger nail, however I was just wondering if is normal? my other girl is an EE and her eggs are smooth,

My Orps do that once in a while... no biggie.

It is common. I am not sure why it happens, but it seems common. Seems like I always have one in the flock that does that.

One of my Barreds seems like every other egg has specks of oyster shell bumps on the eggshell.

Both of my D'Uccles do that - my son calls them 'barnacles'. Yeah, I don't see any problem with them.

One of my Black Australorp hybrids lays eggs with those raised specks on them. I just figure it's jut one her foibles. The eggs are perfectly fine otherwise.
