I only have four hens. Today, I found SIX eggs, when I usually get 3-4 eggs a day. What could have contributed to them laying extra eggs out of nowhere? Not complaining at all. It’s great! I’m just very curious. Not sure if this is a factor, but I had just given them a monthly dose of bastenero in their water for worm
Prevention and removed a big white worm from one of the hens eyes with the help of some VetRX. Did these treatments play a factor in the extra eggs at all?

I have never heard of those things but an option could be a couple of eggs might have been burried in the saw dust (or whatever you have in the nest area) that you didn't see the day before, or they layed an egg after you checked then layed another just before you checked again?
(Someone else might have other ideas)
