Extreme Temps in Quail Incubator

First bird hatched early yesterday morning. Since then, 9 more have hatched out of the 31 left. 1 died last night. It looks like it's innards were out after hatch. So, as of now, I've got 9 birds. I'll watch another day or so and hope for more. Definitely more than I expected after the high temps. Cat almost knocked off counter, as well.
So what's the final verdict? How many out of the 31 hatched? :thumbsup

13 hatched. 9 survived until 2 days ago. Come home from work and 2 (nearly 2 week old chicks) died. So, down to 7 birds.

What's even more surprising is, even with the issues, I think all 7 are hens. Though they're not fully feathered yet, they all seem to appear speckled chested. Means I'll need to buy more to get some males to breed.

Almost 3 weeks old and fully feathered. Moved to garage hutch that I built from pallet wood. It's not 100% complete but, top level is and now than big enough for 7 birds. Overkill actually. 2'x3'.

No, quail are always happier the more room they get! Since im down to two sets of six total birds, one of my trios has an entire duplex rabbit hutch to themselves, they love it!
