Extremely lethargic golden comet hen

The is morning she is lethargic again. I will give her some more nutridrench water. And I will start giving her that calcium tablet.

She is definitely not as lethargic but she is just slow. We do not have any calcium pills. Should I buy them?

Get this kind, and give one whole tablet directly into her beak once a day for the next few days.

Also, give her a soft boiled egg to eat. And put a teaspoon of sugar into her water.

She is really confusing me. She seemed very slow this morning. She was laying down napping for probably an hour. I gave her a boiled egg and some sugar water and boy did she have an appetite. I am about to leave to go to the store to buy the calcium. I don’t know if she is nearing the end of her life but she hasn’t laid and egg in like 5 days :/

So… how do I give her a pill also, should I break it in half? It’s quite large

It's not too large for a chicken to swallow. These guys can swallow mice, lizards, and even snakes. Pry open the beak and shove it in.
