extremely sick chickens please help

Oh..i didn't realize that Kathy..if another one dies I will definitely send it off for a proper one by a professional at OSU. Thank you for your help with everything

A necropsy from a regular vet is better than no necropsy, but if one has and affordable lab like the one in Oregon, that's the way to go. If you had dropped off the deceased one there yesterday, or had shipped her, you would have had a preliminary report yesterday or today at the latest.

If we were closer to that place that's what we would have done. I wish we were closer so I could have done that. We couldn't have shipped her either, everything was closed or we would have done that. If another one dies, and hopefully one doesn't, I will take it to that place.

You could have put her in the fridge and shipped her the next day, that's what I do.

Yes, I could have.. I made a mistake, my vet said he would do a full necropsy and i guess his definition of that is different from what it actually is. I'll know better for if it happens again. Praying that it doesn't, but if it comes to that I will know exactly what to do.
