Extremely simple question...

I'm setting up an incubator following some of the instructions I've found on this site and it shames me to say that I have no idea what a water wiggler is.

I see it mentioned alot, but I don't have any clue! Help me out!

Thanks for the explanation; looks like it is pretty useful in the incubator after all!

They're really great if you want a consistent temp that doesn't show quick fluctuations (ie: when you open the bator to add water) The inner temp of the wiggler (also called a water snake sometimes) similates the inner temp of the egg. Good stuff...worth the couple of dollars!

I have one in my bator and I like it cause it helps me monitor the internal egg temps

Don't feel bad, I spent hundreds of hours reading on here before I ever saw a pic of a water wiggler. (literally hundreds, my dh was wondering if he was going to get me to cook a meal sometime this summer.)
