Extremely Thin Shells-can't seem to remedy

I've found that some birds don't like oyster shell but will happily eat broken up egg shells. I keep both available to them at all times. I have a bird that lays soft eggs occasionally. It's been problematic once but she was able to expel the egg. The high temps seem to have an impact on some of my birds shell quality. I make sure to keep a close eye on my girls with issues. It's more difficult to lay a soft shelled egg so anytime they spend a lot more time than usual, I will administer a calcium citrate plus d3 tablet. I don't crush it or anything like that. Just open the beak and send the tablet down the shoot. If I'm dealing with a bantam, I give a half tablet.
