So happy you found them stinkers!! I hope you’ll ground them for a few days for scaring you so bad! How’d your neighbors feel about having ducks in their pool?

Make sure there is no Snapping Turtles in that pond as someone would say!So happy you found them stinkers!! I hope you’ll ground them for a few days for scaring you so bad! How’d your neighbors feel about having ducks in their pool?
I’m very glad to have found them! I already told them that they’re grounded and they must stay close to home from now on... My neighbor doesn’t use his pool so he wasn’t concerned... hopefully they won’t make it a habit of going on vacation! So happy you found them stinkers!! Thank you much I really appreciate it. It’s definitely a struggle. Thanks for the luck and I will definitely keep posting pictures and videos.Sorry to hear you lost your little bunny, that's never fun to lose a pet. I like your thinking behind not clipping their wings, so if they see a predator coming at least they wont be an easy meal. Good luck back at you and please do keep us posted with pics.![]()
I think that’s a good idea. Good luck with your flock as well. Splash just decided to have some private time with the ladies! He is definitely the romantic romeo of the bunch and is always trying to keep the girls all to himself!I always love a happy ending! Glad your babies are safe. I always panic when anyone is missing for even a few minutes. It's the down side of letting them free range and be themselves. My runner ducks aren't fliers, my American Buff geese can't stay airborne for more than a second or two, and MOST of my chickens don't fly. I don't clip the ones that do because, like you, I want them to be able to escape predators if they need to.
So, Splash just wanted a little private time with the ladies? A romantic romp in a secluded pool? What a Romeo!
I’m very glad too! Hopefully that’s not the case but it very well might be. As long as they return home at night the neighbor agreed it’s not a problem. They are sneaky little fellas and like to cause mischief!Ducks eh ?!
So glad your birds are ok - cheeky blighters !
I suspect if your ducks are contrary as mine, no matter what you do to your pool, they will prefer next doors....

OMG, I hope you finding them!I just returned from the store and am unable to find three of my little call ducks. The three that are missing are the best fliers. The other two are here and unharmed. I’m extremely concerned and worried they landed somewhere far and can’t find their way home. Any advice? Please help, I’m really freaking out...
