Where did you get the product. I’m in the USA, and can’t find where to buy on line.I have just used it on my flock (first dose). Needs to be repeated at 7 days. It has been 5 days since I put it in their water and have been checking the perch for dead mites. Finally found a good pile of dead ones today. I did spring clean the coop just the day before putting it in the water. I don’t think I had a big infestation to start with, but this is the most dead mites I have seen out of any treatment I have used.
Studies have shown that it is almost impossible to overdose a chicken with it.
Fluralaner is the active ingredient which is in dog chew tablets for fleas, so I would suspect that it is fine, but haven’t read up on it.
So far I am impressed though.
Correct, Exzolt is not available in the US so many use permethrin.Where did you get the product. I’m in the USA, and can’t find where to buy on line.
thanks.
Exolt is the same ingredient as Bravecto (fluralaner) that vets give dogs and cats for ticks and fleas.Has anyone used Exzolt to treat mites for their chickens? If so, did it go ok with the chickens and did it do good killing the mites?! Does it have to be repeated? Also, I have dogs so just want to make sure if the dogs eat the chicken poop when being treated with exzolt, if that’s ok too. Thanks!
Permethrin and Elector PSP doesn’t work on D. Gallinae. Nothing does. They’re straight from Hell and impossible to get rid of.Correct, Exzolt is not available in the US so many use permethrin.
