Eye Color for Orpingtons

Can anyone tell me if there is a standard of perfection for orpington eye color? Are the blacks and blues supposed to have black eyes and the buffs gold colored eyes. What about the white orps?

The blues and blacks should have dark brown to black eyes. My Suede's eyes are more of a light brown, but paired with his dark eyed ladies, he's mostly producing chicks with darker eyes than his.

Buff & White Orp - reddish bay eyes

Black & Blue Orp - dark brown eyes

I agree with Jody and Speckled Hen.

As for the White Orpingtons, the eye color should be dark but so light like the RIR's eye color. My White Orps I sold were light brown in color and they were from McM.

Maybe a true White Orp breeder will chime in.....

Thanks for the help everyone. My buffs and whites are right but 2 of my 3 blacks have the lighter eyes.
