Eye discharge

Does anyone know what could be going on? One eye is completely fine . There was a little bit of white discharge coming out of the hurt one

A whitish discharge sounds like an infection. It could have started as a scratch or other slight injury, but that looks like one irritated eye. I'm thinking an eye drop with an antibiotic at this point.
