Eye Growth

Hello,

I have a young pullet, she's not yet of laying age and noticed what appears to be a growth on the bottom of her eye. I'm worried it could be an illness, so that has me worried for the rest of my flock. She's a Sapphire Gem, I've attached a picture. Any help would be much appreciated.

Has it always been like that? If it has, I’d just say it’s a deformation.

No, I'd had never noticed it before. I guess it's possible it's grown with her so it wasn't noticeable to me before

Perhaps. If you notice her doing anything odd, or bubbly or runny eyes, it might be a problem. But otherwise, it’s okay.
