Eye infection?

Noticed one of my saddlebacks shaking her head and her one eye had discharge in it..we wiped it away and will check her tomorrow. Anyone have this happen?

She might have gotten it poked or gotten something in it. My one gander actually has a feather that curls back around and irritates his eye sometimes. You might want to put some terramycin on it and that should clear it up.

Thanks! She's been clear since - both eyes! We do want to add some electolytes to their water tho - and may I ask where you get the terramycin? Our agway and tractor supply no longer will carry antibiotics.

Terramycin should still be sold at TSC, and that's where I get mine. The new law only covers antibiotics that go in feed or in water and are important to human medicine, so terramycin should still be fine. Mine still carries it.
