So yesterday I let my hens out to graze I guess you would call it, and my rooster accidentally got out as well and as soon as he did, he attacked one of my hens. It ended quickly with my hen running back in to the coop. He has spent very little time with this hen as opposed to the time spent with my two breeders, and now that hen will not open her right eye. How can I tell if its seriously injured?

Sometimes these peck injuries look horrible with swelling, and you think the eye is gone. Then after treating with Neosporin or other antibiotic eyedrops for a few days the eye miraculously reappears. Just clean it if there is drainage and try to apply ointment once or twice daily. Chickens can become used to having one eye or a blind eye.

Okay, thanks! I just didn't want her to suffer or anything, she just stays still and looks around with her one eye now and looks so depressed.
