We have a nearly 1 yo Legbar. A few weeks ago (on March 9) we took pics of what looked like an eye injury. We kept watch to make sure it got better. Today, the eye area looks different and has yellow stuff there. I know puss in chickens is a bit cheesy-like, but I'm wondering if this is simply puss or another issue showing itself.
FWIW, her two Legbar sisters from same hatch and source, had tumor type issues, one of which experienced them in her eye area, and the other on her neck. No other chicks from same source (other breeds) had any issues, and no other issues seen in any of our other birds in the flock, and it has been several months since the other Legbars had issues. Could it be some sort of heredity issue?
