Eye Lice

They crawl to the bird's eye to drink their tears (at least that is what I think they are doing) and then they crawl back usually into the bird's ear. I always have a problem with these bugs getting on my peafowl.

So was it just one oral dose of ivermectin and how much?

One oral dose did the trick. Gave 0.15 ml 1.87% horse paste.

What I am wondering is if the large ones are regular lice and the very small ones are the ear lice.
Could be, though the head was the only place she had lice, not like the chickens that get them around the vent, legs, wings, and back.
