Eye Problems??

Hi all!

So we have a Rhode Island Red hen here who's had a funny looking eye her whole life. She doesn't seem to bothered by it or anything, but she does tilt her head a lot to look around. I'm thinking she may be blind in this eye. What do you eggsperts think? She's about 12 weeks or so old.

By the way, her name is Professor Trelawney. Eyeronically her second eye seems to be about as useful as her namesakes third eye....

You can test her by putting a treat by that eye only

Do you have photos of the other side?

Eye disorders can be caused from several different things, from genetic/developmental disorders to disease and injury. If she was like this when she hatched, then it's most likely a genetic/developmental disorder.
