Eye sight

Could you tell me where on this sight I might find some information about possible blindness. I looked in the FAQ and other areas but had no luck. I need to find out how to tell if my bird is blind in 1 or both eyes. He has been on the mend after a fight for 11 days now and I am wondering if he won't move or walk around because he can't see. I know for sure that one eye did get pecked or somthing, because it was closed for about 4 days. Thanks Jamie

Thank you, He can never seem to hit the water or food dish I have out for him either. I'll look at the sight.

I can't find anything on that site. It says they are getting a divorce and she can't do it anymore. Opps

Ok...try going to the Search at the top of this page where its in blue..Hit the Seach button and type in Blindness...I found a few posts come up that way....

I replied to your other posting you made to me but will add this...
Have you flushed the eye with sterile saline daily before apply the AB ointment and is the AB ointment one especially formulated for the eye?
Can you get to a vet? If the peck/damage was sufficient it may have an abscess building up in there somewhere... you might need a systemic med ...
(it is so difficult to give you advice as their may be some internal damage you are not addressing)
